  • I think the world’s a better place when we each claim our wholeness–doing things our way, our style, for our reasons.

A word about coaching:

I work in a coaching capacity, which basically means we work collaboratively. Sometimes people confuse coaching with consulting or therapy. Unlike a consultant, I don’t show up with all the answers and then watch you implement them. Unlike therapy, I don’t need to know all your “stuff.” One client even said to me, “Wow, we’re getting so much done so fast. I thought this would take a long time like therapy.” Nope! We move pretty fast, but we also take time to address the big questions when they come up.

I call shotgun:

In essence, you are in the driver’s seat, and I’m riding shotgun with a lapful of maps, travel guides, GPS, and knowledge of the terrain.

What you can expect from our work together:

  • There will be laughing. Let me just start with that.
  • Sometimes, rarely, there is crying (from you, not me, geez!). I’ll hand you a virtual tissue, you’ll deal with the snot, it will be just fine.
  • I will challenge your assumptions.

  • You will be expected to do the work that it takes. Sometimes this means research or writing or personal work on yourself. It always means discovery.
